IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. The reading module consists of the three sections. First is of general interest, second is for non specialist audience and third one is taken from the books or newspapers. First two sections consist of short texts and the third section is little bit harder and longer. You will be given an answer booklet on which you have to write your answers for the questions based on the given passages. It is advised that you must not spend more than 20 minutes on every section in order to perform well in the exam. By practicing the reading of different texts can help you to increase your ability to read very quickly and efficiently.

While attempting the writing section, it is highly recommended to use your own words as the words that picked from the questions are not counted during the assessment. You must have good knowledge of the grammar in order to build sentences on your own.
